Building Spiritual Muscle in Cadet Athletes at West Point
"You've all been to the stadium to see the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins.
Run to Win.
They do it for a medal that tarnishes and fades. You're after a gold that's eternal."
1 Corinthians 9:24-25

AT A GLANCE
We are an Advisory Board made up of 12 USMA graduates spanning over 50 years plus Kathy Camp and Connie Wagner, our token Rabble Rousers.
We strive to encourage all cadet athletes, regardless of denomination or background, find ethical, moral and spiritual development.
We will staff, supply, encourage and empower small group "huddles" among multiple sports teams and hundreds of cadet athletes.
We will create resources to build spiritual muscle in all cadets and alumni as we can continue building spiritual muscle together.
Like the weight room at the gym, we are a resource for cadets - spiritual spotters - there to help encourage them, strengthen their faith, their resolve, their spiritual muscle.
WHAT IS SPIRITUAL MUSCLE?
All athletes understand the importance of physical fitness.
They work hard to be physically fit and build physical muscle for the game.
We believe that SPIRITUAL MUSCLE is necessary for the sport of life.
They are the muscles you need when times get tough – when you have to make hard decisions from the football field to the battlefield.
They are the muscles that get honed and cut through moral, ethical and spiritual development.
They are formed through fellowship, conversation, prayer, reflection and wrestling with the deep questions of life.
